You know the economy is really bad when people are resorting to making their own Christmas presents this year. Pictured here are a pair of hand-made slippers fashioned from maxi-pads. My husband found this picture on the Internet. I thought it was beyond funny. Look at the fine craftsmanship here! They are soft and cushiony for your feet, they have a non-slip base, come in scented and unscented, and can be used to absorb spills on the floor. I am sure they come in four sizes: small, medium, long, and extra long. Whoever created these is a genius–I wish I could claim them as my design! The only thing they need to do now is offer different charms for each holiday! I think I want a pair!
